Air Hoses

Auger

Grain Dryer

©2014 Henry S. Winokur In most cases, before grain can be stored the grain must be dried. This is a grain dryer. The grain is loaded at the top and as it falls through the running dryer, it gets dried. By the time it gets to the bottom it has had the proper amount of moisture removed and can be efficiently stored. The dried grain is then carried over to the elevator (to the right) rides to the top and gets distributed to any of the nearby storage bins. Lanark, IL

A REAL selfie
