And the bus you rode in on...
©2011 Henry S. Winokur In this pano, I edited out a bunch of people, since I only wanted the landscape and the bus. This is called Mactesh Ramon, near Ramon Crater, in the Negev, IS.

Valles Caldera
©2011 Henry S. Winokur A "caldera" is a sunken volcanic cone. The grass in this area is probably 4-5 FEET high! This one is west and a bit south of Los Alamos, NM.
The South Downs
©2012 Henry S. Winokur In the UK, walking is almost a national sport. This is an area in the south called the (obviously) "South Downs", where one can walk for miles. Come to a fence? Use the gate or the stile to get through or over it. it's a much nicer mindset than here in the US where every piece of land--except parks--seems to be privatized. Near Brighton, UK.

Vineyards on Long Island
©2013 Henry S. Winokur Panorama of a vineyard I visited on Long Island, no less.
Paddle Boats at the Tidal Basin
©2014 Henry S. Winokur A friend told me that this is a view point (looking west) from which few images are taken. But it can be a lot more interesting than some with an interesting foreground, such as the Tidal Basin Paddle boats. Washington, DC
The Other Side
This view is from the east side of the Tidal Basin looking west. It's from a viewpoint not often seen. (Most people are on the west side looking *into* the sun! ©2014 Henry S. Winokur
The Farm
I have some good friends who farm outside of a small town in NW IL. This is a view taken from atop one of their large corn storage bins. Most of my "farm" shots are taken on their farm over many years of visits. ©2014 Henry S. Winokur
Cuernos del Paine
These 3 peaks are a major part of Torres del Paine (pronounced pie-nay) National Park, in southern Chile. ©2016 Henry S. Winokur
SSFS 360°
This is a 360° view of Sandy Spring Friends School, my high school alma mater. It has changed a great deal physically since I was there. ©2016 Henry S. Winokur
San Francisco from the Berkeley Hills, CA
This pano of the San Francisco Bay and SF itself, was taken looking west from the Berkeley Hills. In the print, you can actually see a lot of the details that make up the city and it's environs. ©2017 Henry S. Winokur

Face Rock Sunset
©2018 Henry S. Winokur The rock on the left is Face Rock--you can see the profile as though the head was turned slightly to the left. I guess you could call the rocks on the right "Foot Rock" as it does look somewhat like a foot (a la "The Awakening" a statue that used to be at Hains Point in DC.
